Aztec Cardigan and Mini Thrift Haul

Happy Sunday!!!

Hope everyone is having a Blessed Sunday and wishing everyone a SUPER BLESSED week!

I wanted to share today's church message with you, as I try to do most Sunday's. The text was Luke 16:22-26 and the title of the text was, "Hell is Hotter than this!" In short, he reminded us that this heat we're experiencing doesn't hold a candle to what hell is like and it is important that we fulfill God's purpose for our lives on this earth, so that we can have eternal life. He also spoke about storms and how they are sometimes necessary to bring us out of our living hell. Great Message and what I needed to hear at this point in my life! So, my daily mantra will be, "Is my living in vain?" Something to really ponder on!

Anywho, while in Chicago, we visited Magnificient Mile, which is a strip with tons of shopping stores.....I was like a kid in a candy store! We were able to get some thrifting done, as well. I want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Sing for assisting us with that process! We found some great thrifting buys. Chicago really surprised me and I really enjoyed exploring all that it had to offer. I can not wait to go back!!!
When I saw the below picture of Solange in those shorts..I fell in love with the print! So, when I saw this cardigan I had to purchase it!

I really like Akira and was very psyched to visit the actual store, which are all based in the Chicago area.
Aghh....finally some wind to cool me down in that 100 degree weather!

Here are some thrifiting items I scored while in Chicago...thanks again Sing :-)

Do you get to meet Sing at all? I will have to consult with her next time I visit C-Town, one of my good friends recently moved there about a year ago.
