Blessings to all on this Wonderful Sunday! Hoping everyone's week has started off great!
Church was AMAZING today! God truly spoke to my heart! The text was John 15:1-5 and the title was, "Growing Pains". The message spoke about how growing pains shapes us and molds us into who and what God has called us to be! God didn't save us for us to sit and stay in the condition he found us in. So, he will shake our lives up to rid us of the things that are blocking us from moving into God's plan and purpose for our lives. So, it is so important for us to just HOLD ON, no matter what happens in our life. We may not understand what God is doing while we're going through it and may not at times, like it..... but keeping faith and continuing to praise God despite what we're going through, is worth the reward in the end. When the growth is over, we will be who God intended us to be. It humbles me so much when I KNOW God is talking to me and sent that word directly to me....feeling tremendously Blessed and Grateful on this Sunday!
Anywho, on to what I wore.....When I saw this dress, I thought nothing of it but liked the color, so decided to try it on and once I tried it on..I fell in love with it. I decided to add a couple of splashes of pink to give it some umph...Hope Ya like! I realized after taking pics that this dress doesn't photograph well. It looks so much better in person!
I wish my necklace was about two inches longer...but hey, I worked with what I had :-)
I know the dress material looks satin but it is 100% raw silk.....the camera adds that sheen to it.
Love these shoes, they may be one of my favorite pairs of shoes! These were my birthday shoes last year and that was the first and last time I've worn them. So, when I purchased this dress, I was trying to decide what shoes I'd wear with it and I was leaning towards my nude pumps, then I saw my lil' hot pink babies sitting on the shelve and knew I had to wear them! I was a little hesitant at first, because I feel that due to the satin fabric it makes the shoe a little more formal. However, I still wore them! I felt great in my hot pink satin shoes :-)
