Color Blocking....

Happy Tuesday!!!

I am so loving the color blocking trend. I have always been one for bright colors, so I am definitely loving the fact that bright/bold colors are in right now. This is my version of color blocking. I thought it would be pretty cool to participate in the Blogger's Do It Better challenge.  I think what Kristina (Pretty Shiny Sparkly) is doing is exciting and such a good idea. A Tribal Monday

Today was one of the nicest days of Spring, thus far. I wished I would've referenced the weather report before getting dressed for work this morning. It was 77 degrees today and I wore a blazer, jeggings, and boots...*sigh*! Yes, I was HOT!!! My job is professional but the environment is pretty relaxed. Some people wear jeans and t-shirts everyday and others wear suits. I dress according to my mood that particular day! Today my look was more casual. Anywho....this was my "Tribal Inspired" work look. Feeling Floral

Hoping Everyone is Having An Awesome Sunday!!!!

God has been so good to me this week(and everyday). However, this week God reminded me/showed me who he is and that I am highly favored by him. I have been slacking these last past couple of Sundays and tuning into my church service via the web, instead of getting my butt out of bed and going to the House of the Lord. I know..TERRIBLE! I've been in one of those "anti-social", "let me worship alone" type of funks. Thank God, I'm over that! So, today I made it to church. It was a pretty gloomy/cloudy day, so I opted for a more casual look, just in case it rained....I wanted to be comfy. Anywhooooo...here is my Sunday Floral look....Hope you Enjoy!

Dotted with a Splash of Pink

I recently attended the Marsha Ambrosius and Melanie Fiona concert here in Philadelphia. It was AMAZING! When I say Marsha tore it down...she tore it down! This was my second time seeing her in concert and she put on a GREAT show. I have such a higher level of respect for her after attending this show. She is a great songtress, performer, and person. She also brought out "surprise" guest Patti Labelle! I almost lost it! Patti Labelle looked so Gorgeous and flawless. Beautiful Woman!!! Melanie Fiona was good too, she had great energy. The weather finally broke on the day of the concert and I was able to FINALLY dress for spring weather.....
