Thanksgiving Festivities

Hi Ladies!

So, this post is a tad bit late. This is what I wore for Thanksgiving. Dinner was at my mother's house this year and my family from North Carolina came and we had such a wonderful time. The following day everyone came down to my house and we did the Double Decker Bus Tour of Philadelphia and of course, tried some cheese steaks. Here are a couple of pics from the Holiday! (A lil' pic heavy)

By the end of the night this blouse was snagged in a zillion places. I paid $9.95 for it and I guess I got what I paid for... :-(

Hello All!

Hoping everyone is having a blessed Sunday and had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My Thanksgiving Holiday was such a blessing. My brother is a Marine and was deployed to Afghanistan back in May, he returned home the day before Thanksgiving and it truly is a Blessing to my family and I. I also became engaged the day before his return to the love of my life...so needless to say, I have SO MUCH to be thankful for. Anywho, this is what I wore to church this morning. Nothing extraordinary..

The Perfect Night/Day

Yeah!!!!! So Monday/Tuesday was such a special, memorable, long time coming night! "The boo" who I can now call "my fiance"..proposed!!! It was so lovely and so well thought out and perfect for me. So elated that he finally made an honest woman out of me..lol! The ring is everything I wanted, he did good (with some help from me, of course). He def. surprised me and caught me totally off guard. I wasn't sure where we were going..he told me to dress nice and this is what I wore. It was quick and easy.

Hoping everyone had a great weekend. Wishing everyone a blessed week! A friend shared this with me and it was perfect timing, so I thought I'd share...

                        Not Everyone Deserves a Front Row Seat

Life is a theater – invite your audience carefully.
Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives.

There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not going anywhere relationships / friendships!!

Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention….

Which ones lift and which ones lean?
Which one encourages and which ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill?
When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse?
Which ones always have drama or don’t really understand, know or appreciate you?

The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in The FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life. You cannot change the people around you, but you can change the people you are around! Remember…everyone does not deserve to occupy a front row seat in your life – adjust accordingly!

Greetings to All!

Back in September when Missoni released it's line for Target, I was part of the madness scrambling to get a piece from this collection. I managed to walk away with two pieces; the dress I am currently wearing and a cardigan. However, the cardigan... I am indecisive about what I should do with it. I was in a hurry when grabbing my Missoni items to assure that I was able to get something before it was all gone. However, I realized the other day when I went to wear the cardigan it is a kids Large...yeah! Only me....but in my defense it was placed with the women's sizes. So, that was my lil blurb about my Missoni mishap. Well, wishing everyone a great weekend! XOXO

The color of this scarf just makes me smile. It's so vibrant and def. a pop of color for those drab days when I need a mood booster. (I'm still on a quest to find a Chunky Infiniti Scarf, though.)

Hello All!

Hoping everyone's weekend was great and that your week will be the same!

This one will be short and sweet. It was actually 68 degrees today. I wished I would've checked the weather this morning because I would've wore something different... But anyway, I tried to make it outside to take pics but with the sunsetting a lot earlier now, there is no way I can make it home in time... Oh well...I tried :-(   This was my look for today.

Today was a bad hair day..not sure what's going on maybe I need to switch up my routine....
