The same black dress I wore last Wednesday, I wore today....Shameful I know. I have been at my mother's house for the past week and I didn't plan on staying this long. I ran out of clothes and needed something to wear to work, so I had to really remix what I already had. So, here I am in my black dress....again. But I rocked it as a skirt this time around, so hopefully none of my co-workers noticed! Well.....Hoping that everyone's week is going well! This is what I wore....

Feeling Minty

Top of the Week to You All! 

This weekend I took a trip to visit one of my bestie's! We had such a good time, filled with tons of laughter, good food, and memorable moments for sure :-) Sometimes a weekend getaway is exactly what you need with genuine friends! Anywho, Saturday night we went to Foxwoods Casino to see Steve Harvey perform his Final Comedy tour. He was very funny and the comedian, Junior-from The Steve Harvey Morning Show, opened up for him and he was HILARIOUS. He had me and everyone else in tears. A great show for sure! This is what I wore to the show. I wanted to be casually cute but still comfy without doing too much and this is what I decided on :-)

BDIB: Valentine's Day

Happy Belated Valentine's Day to you all...

For some reason, I wasn't in the mood to do anything for V-day. I wanted to stay home and enjoy a home cooked meal, curled up with a good movie. However, "the future hubby" had other plans. He surprised me with a Marsha Ambrosius concert in Atlantic City. I LOVE Marsha and last night was my third time seeing her. It seems as though every performance is better than the last! Anywho, we had a great time even though initally I had no desire to do anything. This post features two V-day looks; what I wore to work earlier that day and what I wore later on that night.  Funny thing is, I was in such a funky mood because I felt I had absolutely nothing to wear and wasn't totally thrilled with what I ended up wearing but "the future hubby" thought I looked great, so that made me feel a lot better :-) Hoping everyone's V-day was filled with love!

Weekend Wear: Pink and Navy

Sending a HUGE WELCOME to my new followers and KISSES to all of my lovely blogger friends. I have to send prayers out and acknowledge the loss of one of the greatest, if not the greatest female vocalist, Ms. Whitney Houston. We suffered a great loss this weekend. Condolences to all.....  On a brighter note, this is what I wore on my FINAL wedding dress shopping trip :-) I said, "YES TO THE DRESS!" I am ecstatic! It's my dream dress and every single thing I wanted in a dress...I can't wait to walk down the aisle in it! I enjoyed the wedding gown shopping experience but I am glad I found one that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!!!! After visiting, what seems like 30 something bridal shops, I was losing a little hope. I liked a lot of dresses but wasn't "loving" any, until this last one I found! Super Excited!!!! Anywho, this was my look for the day/night!

Corporate Chic: Mustard and Black

Greetings to All! 

So, the re-working of my closet has begun..lol! I decided to wear this mustard dress that I love so much! I think it's such a pretty color and it masks "trouble areas" on those days I am feeling a little larger than usual.

 Does anyone else have an issue with their patterned tights twisting? These things almost drove me crazy; that one leg just wouldn't stay in place... :-(

 I just love this hammered gold necklace, as I'm sure you all have noticed, because I have worn it in NUMEROUS blog posts. :-) It's one of my most frequent "go-to" accessories.

Vintage Loving: Green Leopard

Hi Ladies,

Not only do I love this dress because of the animal print but I love the buttons in the back...a true vintage detail, in my book. I thrifted this dress quite sometime ago and I finally got around to wearing it. Initially, I went back and forth about if I wanted to shorten it, which I think I eventually will. It seems as of lately, I've been pulling for the greens and blues in my closet.  Anywho, this was my look for today.
